Do you deliver every image you shoot?
No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With our expertise of processing millions of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.
Can I see a full event from start to finish?
Of course you may! We pride ourselves on the consistency of our work. We understand all photographers post their best shots from each wedding on their websites so it’s hard to determine how well he or she will perform on the wedding day. That is why we encourage all of our potential clients to view full events from all photographers they meet with to see how well the photographer performs throughout the day.
How can I book a shoot?
Customers can finalise the package from the website or from the rate card emailed. After liaising with each other, a convenient date and time slot can be booked by paying an advance.
What follows after we book the shoot?
Once the shoot is booked, there will be pre-shoot discussions to guide you on the theme, costume and preparations, if any to be done. The finalized themes will be set up only on the day of actual shoot.
Immediately on completion of the shoot, we will take two sets of back-up of the shoot files to avoid any potential loss. Short listing of the photographs for editing will be done within 24hrs. The finalized photos will be taken for edit and the same will be delivered within 10 to 15 days depending on the package selected.
When should I book my newborn shoot?
The best time to contact us for your newborn portfolio is during your pregnancy. We will make a tentative booking based on your due date. The final date can be fixed after you have come home with your baby. If your baby falls sick and needs rest, please do not proceed with the shoot. We will reschedule it for you.
Can you do my baby’s newborn session in my home?
Yes. Please note that it will be a newborn lifestyle session where the focus would be on the baby in his/her nursery while bonding with parents. We will try to accommodate some sleeping photographs on spreads. Travelling to customer place will invite cost, please discuss.
Which is the Ideal month to do the maternity portrait?
7th to 8th month of pregnancy is the ideal time to do the maternity portrait.
Do you take orders for print?
We can facilitate for large size prints on canvas & photo paper through our associates. Framing of photographs, album creation and other possible options can be discussed during the pre discussion / photo shoot and we will facilitate the same. The cost will be as per the rate card of our associate.
How long does it take to get my album?
you can typically expect to receive your album 6 weeks after placing the order. The process prior to placing the order varies in duration depending on how quickly you respond to the instructions for the album design as well as the amount of changes you request after the initial designs.
What all payment modes do you accept?
We accept electronic transfers, cash and cheque payment. Please note that cheques are to be cleared before the shoot.
